On the Pororopedia, you are free to edit pages (except ones that have been admin-protected due to previous vandalism) However, there are a few things that you should know when editing.

  • Do not edit pages inserting useless information solely for the purpose of earning badges.
  • Do not put random characters in pages (eg. eddffw3832)
  • Do not put fake pictures on Galleries.
    • Taking pictures of your television for a gallery page is also unacceptable under our image policy.
  • Do not put anything relating to relationships; most are made up by fans.
  • Do not put just one letter in a random section (eg. G).
  • Do not blank pages (removing all text on a page and publishing it).
  • Do not make every word capitalized.
  • Do not create blank pages (eg. Making "Popo and Pipi/Gallery" without doing anything). This usually happens when a user is unsure what to do, so please ask an admin for assistance first.
  • When making a page, please do not waste time by put something silly/useless on it. Our wiki is for encyclopedic and archival purposes.
  • When writing a synopsis, it is preferred that it be fully complete instead of adding portions at a time. Please ensure that a synopsis has a satisfactory amount of details, as they are very detailed descriptions of what happens in an episode. Any portion of an incomplete synopsis or any synopsis with little to no detail added in is subject to be removed.
  • Due to a copyright incident in the past, pages for upcoming characters are not allowed to be created until either their debut episode or a new trailer containing them has released. To refrain from getting the wiki in any more trouble, any creation of said pages will be quickly deleted.
    • If getting information from a cast/crew member via any social media accounts, please be aware of the validity of those accounts, as there is a chance they could be impersonator accounts intent on spreading any misinformation about the real cast/crew member. Take each piece of information with a grain of salt.

Requirements for Pages

  • Every pages are required to have a "BasicBox". A BasicBox is a template that was created to make a page have it's own color to match other modules on the site.
    • To place a BasicBox on a page, type {{BasicBox}} before proceeding to the next part. This template must be put at the very top of the page, unless it is an episode or character page (more details below).
  • When making a reference to Pororo the Little Penguin as a series, please italicize the name.
    • Example: ''[[Pororo the Little Penguin]]''
      • Note: To prevent confusion, the characters around the series name are apostrophes and not quotation marks as it may appear.

  • Please remember that this wiki is for English speakers only. When editing, please be sure to use the English language.
  • Please spell everything correctly and use proper grammar.
    • Try not to use run-on or incomplete sentences.
  • Please put quotation marks (" ") around episode names. However, this is not necessary for gallery lists, appearance lists, or comments.
  • An edit summary is not required. However, if you are making several edits of the same sort (eg. Rearranging episode numbers to the correct ones) it is best to add an edit summary once or twice so an admin won't have to check every page.
  • Use apostrophes in contractions. (e.g. "can't" and "won't")
  • Remember to use punctuation. Run on sentences are displeasing to read; try to break such sentences down using punctuation. Use them properly, though - not just for the sake of breaking a sentence down. Also remember that when listing multiple things in a sentence, that each element should have a serial comma at the end (for example, "Pororo, Petty, and Crong").
  • It's is the contraction of "it is" or "it has" and its is used for the possession of "it." (for example, "It's a sunny morning. Pororo is reading a book.")
  • Then is a transitional word and than is a comparison word.
  • The word "whoa" is commonly misspelled as "woah." The correct spelling must always be used. ("Whoa!")
  • There are two forms of the word "your."
    • "You're" is short for you are, and contains a comma as it is a conjunction.
    • "Your" is used for a belonging, or anything else that is not an abbreviation for you are.
  • There are three forms of the word "there." "They're" is short for they are, and is a conjunction. "Their" is used for a belonging to someone typically, and "there" is for anything else.
  • There are two forms of the word "whose." "Who's" is a conjunction and stands for who is. Whose is used for anything else that would not make much sense to say "who is."
  • Numbers one through ten can be in word or number form, but use them wisely.
  • The text in a page should not be too complex, yet not so simple that some meaning is lost.
